MMA Jamaica welcomes partnership proposals from organizations interested in hosting major mixed martial arts events in Jamaica. These opportunities are open to sports bodies, government agencies, venues, promoters, and commercial partners seeking to collaborate in delivering high-profile amateur MMA championships.

Host Opportunity

To host a SANCTIONED MMA show in JAMAICA the following requirements must be met:

• Licensing: Obtain a license from the MMA FEDERATION, which includes submitting an application detailing the event’s nature, location, and compliance with safety standards. 
• OFFICIALS: Licensed officials must be appointed and a MMA JAMAICA OFFICIAL must be on site
• Safety Regulations: Establish guidelines that include medical personnel on-site, pre-fight medical examinations, and the use of safety gear such as helmets and mouthguards. 
• Age and Weight Class Divisions: Categorize participants based on age and weight divisions to promote safety and fair competition. 
• NOTIFY MMA-JA: Notify MMA-JA no less than 60 days in advance to ensure certain requirements such as blood work can be met.

These requirements ensure that the event is safe, fair, and in compliance with Federation regulations. Other vital information will be provided when the Federation is notified.
